A room of her own

Last night was the first night that little Miss actually spent in her own room! She had napped there every once in a while, but we officially made the switch last night. So far so good. She slept from 8-midnight, midnight-5 am (when wonderful Daddy Mac got up with her when she didn't go right back to sleep again) and then again until about 9:30 this morning. It is not perfect, it is better than she has been doing. While I do not love the trips upstairs in the middle of the night, it is good to reclaim Daddy Mac's and my room back again. Messr McShortie had been sleeping in her room, as I fully expected him to climb out of the crib and choose to sleep in a big boy bed at any moment. But of course, my children love to thwart my plans. He can get out of the crib, but still likes to sleep in it. So, we borrowed a crib, set it up in his room, and he has been sleeping comfortably in it for a few weeks now. Now all I need to do is getting around to decorating their rooms! I don't have any new photos of Little Miss sleeping, so you get one of my favorite baby ones.

PS Little Miss took cereal well 2 days in a row now!

Excellent! We get to take the perilous journey down the hardwood stairs 2-3 times a night still...

You never notice how LOUD your house is until you try to sneak upstairs avoiding creaky boards at 3:30 AM...
