Doctor visits

We had checkups for both wee McShorties today, and both checked out a-ok! Mr. weighed in today at 26 lbs, 9 oz. He is 35 ½ inches high. This puts him about 30th percentile for weight, and about 60th percentile for height. Little Miss ain’t so little. She weighed in at 18 pounds even, and 25 ¾ inches for height. This is the 90th percentile for weight (again), and about 60th for height. Her head size is holding steady at the 50th percentile. To compare, Mr. was no lightweight at her age either. He was 17 lbs 9 oz, and 26 ¾ inches in height at 6 months. And yes, this means that the kids are currently less than 10 pounds different in weight, even though there is a 10 inch difference in height! Mr. was a little freaked during the visit. He clearly remembers shots, and did get a couple today. Little Miss got a bunch of shots, but seems to be handling them just fine!

The photo may be more of the McShorties than you want to see, and they will probably kill me later for even having taken the photo, but I thought it highlighted the current differences in body types pretty darn well.
