Mama's garden has been a little hit and miss this year. Too many cucumbers, but the squirrels took all my tomatoes. I tried a new "Italian summer squash" this year. Lots and lots of vines, but no fruit (or so we thought, until we checked over the fence to the neighbors side. . . and saw these monstrosities). When I looked back at the seed package, it says to harvest when squash are 12 inches long. Oops.
