police horse barn

One of the PTA outings for the McShorties' preschool this summer was visiting the police horse barn in Swope Park. The McShorties could not be more excited! Hanging out with Sargeant-Major (we had actually met him about a year before in Loose Park!)We brought carrots to feed to the horses. Officer Julie giving Mr. McShortie a hand in feeding the treats.

Little Miss finally worked up enough courage to get out of my arms, and even pet one of the horses, but never quite was up to feeding.

Super-nice officers, super-pretty horses, and super-cool outing!
