Again, the blog is supposed to be about the wee McShorties, not Mama and Daddy Mac, but this past weekend, we were able to escape the wee McShorties for two nights to celebrate our anniversary in the city where we got engaged. Good to see some old friends from Ohio, (if just briefly), great to be able to sleep in, and positively blissful to eat beignets and drink cafe au lait. Our camera broke, so you only get a shot from my camera phone. BIG thank you to the grandparents! I think the McShorties had a wonderful time, were spoiled rotten, and did not even miss Mama and Daddy Mac!
