Daddy Mac bravely volunteered to coach the kiddos in soccer this year! This is little girl's first foray and it's been a while since the boy tried it. I say bravely, as anyone who has tried herding a dozen 4 and 5 year olds around a field in a coordinated fashion knows, it is not an easy gig! The McShorties are on the same team (the Buffalos), and mister has been enjoying it quite a bit, especially his time in goal.
Little girl was sorely disappointed that she couldn't wear a skirt with her uniform, but I found some pink soccer shorts, which appeased her somewhat.
Little girl is a bit more interested in the snacks (yes, they still do orange slices) than playing, but hopefully with a little time, she'll want to play more.
Our first game was really hot.

Is little miss blonde from being out in the sun? I think she needs a pink tutu to wear while she's kicking butt on the soccer field!
