soda jerk
A few people might know this, but long before his current career, Granddad Short had extensive experience as a "soda jerk" in his parents' drugstore. At the last visit to the Grandparents Short's house, the McShorties were treated to a professional milkshake. Granddad even found the original milkshake mixer from the old drugstore, and despite lacking the full soda fountain facilities, still turned out a mean milkshake!

I miss those! Nothing beats that taste of the metal mix cup. I can almost taste one! Glad the machine still works and that another generation gets to have the treat!
