the Freelands

Mama McShortie has a very good friend from college, who was good enough to pack up her clan and come visit Mama for her milestone birthday this year. We'll call them the "Freelands."Here we have "Chuck ("Wheels") Freeland." This daredevil boy was fresh off of an encounter with the edge of a toybox and his nose, but was not slowed down a bit.

And this crazy guy is "Red." Chuck, Red, and the McShorties got along famously -- the dynamic duo reinvented.A new rock band?We were even lucky enough to take in a baseball game. After requests to see Slugger, Daddy Mac gamely re-created the look. Most of the kiddos thought it was amusing. Chuck, however, was not amused.

It was so much fun to see the second generation becoming friends too. We had such a good time with the Freelands, and can't wait to see them again!!
