8-oh

Bear with a Mama's immoderate pride for this one. Mr. McShortie had a handful of blocks and came running to Daddy Mac and me to show us something. He carefully arranged them on the floor and said "look, 8 and 'oh'." We were so freaking proud of him for 1) knowing a number and a letter, and 2) being able to construct them out of blocks. I don't think he could figure out why Mama was tearing up a little at his presentation.
