"Firemans!"

We had a wonderful birthday party for Mr. McShortie last week. Friends and family came over to help celebrate. Mr. McShortie all ready for the "firemans" themed party (his choice for theme).The highlight of the party was he got to sit on Uncle Mac's motorcycle with his helmet on. Well, it was the highlight until. . .

REAL firemen and a REAL firetruck came to visit. Daddy Mac had talked the local fire department into coming by. Mr. McShortie got to pose with real firemen,

shake their hands, sit in the cab of the truck,
ring the bell,

climb the ladder with Daddy Mac,

aim the hose,

and sit on the bumper.

They even drove off with lights and a quiet siren going. Bye-bye "firemans"!

Unless we get a circus next year, I don't know how we are going to top this!
