little Miss checked out

Little Miss McShortie went in for her 15 month appointment Tuesday. She is cruising right along on her growth charts in the middle of the pack (23 pounds even, for those keeping score at home). Practically perfect according to the doctor (well, the doctor said everything looked good. . . biased Mama may have interpreted that as "perfect"). 2 more shots, but she seems to be handling them fine. A little ahead of the curve for her vocabulary already (although I still can't believe no "mama" or "dadda"!) and the doctor said that was a sign of intelligence (like we didn't know she was smart already! ). 4 molars coming in though -- the coming weeks might be a bit rough.

As a side note - we swear she is singing the alphabet. We've been singing it a lot with her brother recently, and we have caught her singing afterwards in the same tune and distinct letters (in the right order!). I'll try to catch it on video!
