Snow with Friends

The McShorties were also fortunate enough to be able to spend time over the holidays with friends from out of town. You know the rule, if it is snowing, we must be outside.
We found shovelling to be fun.

 But we also explored the rest of the yard.

 And said hi to Cindy and Robert.

 Wait, what is that fun thing you do in the snow? Oh yeah, sledding. (Unfortunately, it was really wet snow and that made the sleds stick rather than glide.)

 And then there is that glorious thing that all kids do--let's make a pile of stuff. It didn't add up to a fort, but kept them occupied...

 ...until the call for grilled cheese!

It was good to see everyone again!
