Well, Mama is officially nuts. I decided it would be "fun" to drive to go visit Aunt Kate. For those keeping score at home, that is about 1000 miles, each way. I talked Daddy Mac into taking a couple of days off work and driving out to Columbus, Ohio (where we used to live for a couple of years) with us for family vacation. Here we are, on a whim, leaving a night earlier than we planned. The McShorties were great on the drive (especially thanks to some superhero videos)
The McShorties even successfully slept in the same bed for the first time. However, little Miss would not leave her brother alone (hence the pillow between them). And, somehow in the morning, little Miss was facing the other direction
Look for more photos of our fun trip to Columbus, but Daddy Mac just had to fly back, so the McShorties and Mama are on our own and heading to see Aunt Short tomorrow. Wish us all luck!
