Hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year celebration. This year we invited some friends who have kids the same ages as the McShorties over for a sleepover. The idea was that nobody had to drive and nobody needed to get a babysitter. Good idea, and maybe just too good of an execution. Some of the adults (this means you, Daddy Mac) maybe took the opportunity to overindulge, and our friends' little girl was a little too overstimulated to sleep well -- but overall a success. We were even able to have a countdown a bit early for the kiddos and have good luck kisses:
